Life as An Adventure

Security is mostly a superstition.  It does not exist in nature nor do children of men as a whole experience it.  Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure.  Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

  1. I am not so sure that life is an adventure, but rather misadventure… however, I pretty much agree with this insight as it frames Oedipus’ quandary very well. Oedipus in trying to escape his fate, ran into it. So often the thing that we desperately try to escape, ensnare us.

as for clipmarks-off topic– I am not following you, but last night came across you and I ahven’t had a time to figure anythign out because my FF browser wiped out and I’;ve been without computer for nearly 7weeks and scarcely struggling through heavy backlog of photogrpahy and also I;ve lost all my bookmarks three times within the last year which was very heavy loss for me.

I’ve no firefox now, but get the clipmark weekly or monthly update on news.

and that’s all. I rarely clip anything becaue it comes to close to plagiarism for my comfort and I keep all my pages very strictly to my own work. I’d have to open a new page somewhere that allowed interpolation of other stuff.

It’s like that for me and right now, just trying to update seven months of lost work is hard enough and I’ve three major sources now asking me for three radically different writing projects and in addition to that I am now preparing stock photography which in and of itself is overload fulltime job with a backlog of some 50GB that I must load onto the computer and reduce to thumbnails….

so hence why I am nt able to update anythign becaue i am searchng for lost bookmarks and i hve thousands of butterflies to be identified and classed by latin taxonomy.

I slept three hours and am orking already and sun is up. Must go.
